Area Sales Coordinator
The Area Sales Coordinator at the Hyatt Regency Denver at the Colorado Convention Center and Grand Hyatt Denver will assist Area Sales Managers with administrative duties including but not limited to Word processing, account management, presentation preparation and customer follow up. This position will coordinate account client needs and client events.
The Area Sales Coordinator will maintain files, systems and communication to other departments as directed by Area Sales Managers. The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative and problem‑solving skills on assignments.
Responsibilities
Assist Area Sales Managers with administrative duties (Word processing, account management, presentation preparation, and customer follow‑up).
Coordinate account client needs and client events.
Maintain files, systems and communication to other departments as directed.
Qualifications
A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast‑paced environment.
Refined verbal and written communication skills.
Must have basic hospitality industry knowledge.
Must be able to work independently and confidently.
At least one year of sales/catering experience is a plus.
Must be able to establish professional relationships within the hotel and manage confidential information.
Strengths must include knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, and Word programs.
Flexibility in work schedule a plus.
Compensation Hourly rate: $22.50.
