About the Role The Purchasing Specialist is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials, components, and services necessary to support manufacturing operations. This role ensures cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality standards, timely delivery, and supplier performance. The ideal candidate has at least four years of procurement experience in a manufacturing environment and demonstrates strong analytical, negotiation, and vendor management skills.

What You’ll Do

Source and procure raw materials, components, and services in alignment with production schedules and inventory requirements

Evaluate supplier performance based on cost, quality, delivery, and reliability

Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with vendors to achieve cost savings and favorable agreements

Issue purchase orders and monitor order status to ensure on-time delivery

Collaborate with production, engineering, and inventory teams to forecast material needs

Maintain accurate procurement records, pricing data, and supplier documentation

Resolve issues related to supplier performance, delivery delays, or quality concerns

Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement

Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements

Support audits and maintain documentation in accordance with internal controls

Additional Expectations

Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies which includes the Kingspan Group Compliance Policy.

Ensure that all duties related to product compliance are adhered to in accordance with the Product Compliance Policy, Laws, Regulations, and market demands.

Responsible for all tasks to achieve compliance goals and demands of the Compliance Management System.

Must raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to their supervisor, manager, or any member of the Leadership Team, or through the confidential whistle blower service.

What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)

Minimum of 3 years of purchasing or procurement experience in a manufacturing environment

Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, inventory management, and sourcing strategies

Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar)

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis

Strong negotiation and vendor management skills

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Understanding of contract terms, pricing structures, and cost analysis

Pay range: $65,000 USD to $80,000 USD. This role is eligible for a discretionary bonus.
