Compensation
This is an exempt position, with a monthly salary of
$3,900
during the probationary period. Upon successful completion of the probationary period, the base rate will increase to
$4,333
per month.
Role Summary The Merchant Consultant role serves as the first point of contact to our clients. You will be the brand ambassador to our company by introducing the business solutions we provide to the clients. An ideal candidate will be goal-driven, resilient, and people-oriented.
Responsibilities
Generate leads, cold-call, and prospect potential clients.
Conduct in-person meetings to determine customer needs, present customized payment, merchant financing and marketing solutions.
Perform pricing analysis by assessing clients’ payment processing statements and initiate proposals accordingly.
Follow up with potential merchants by reviewing product and service features, benefits, and terms.
Close sales in a timely and effective manner.
Navigate potential lead sources; develop and maintain new lead sources.
Develop new sales opportunities within the existing client base.
Build and maintain relationships with referrals and affiliates.
Create and develop marketing programs to increase sales.
Qualifications
Must be authorized to work in the US at the time of hire. We are an E-Verify employer.
High school degree or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Business Administration, Communications, Finance, or related field preferred.
2-3 years of sales and/or customer service experience required.
Previous experience in the Merchant Service industry is an asset.
Strong communication skills, critical thinking, detail-oriented, and analytical abilities.
Strong desire to succeed in a competitive market and self-motivated.
Able to work independently and driven by results.
