Reporting to the CRC Director, the Assistant Director Portfolio Management leads portfolio delivery for Cyber Resiliency Center projects and programs in accordance with the vision of the GCITC and the State of Georgia. The Assistant Director Portfolio Management will manage the collection of projects and programs to achieve CRC strategic objectives and ensure governance discipline, roadmap planning, risk and dependency management, KPI reporting, vendor coordination, and capacity planning. This role will work with the Senior Director to recruit and maintain key partners and manage the customer pipeline and growth for GCITC CRC programs and partnerships. Responsibilities

Program leadership, governance, and risk: set multi-quarter direction and milestones, dashboards, and post-implementation reviews to align execution with CRC priorities and measurable cybersecurity outcomes. Ensure compliance, standardization, and continuous improvement through knowledge of cybersecurity regulations, governance frameworks, and maturity models. Translate organizational objectives into KPIs and risk metrics; establish monitoring and reporting methods to support early risk detection and executive decisions. Advise senior leadership and stakeholders on cybersecurity tradeoffs and risk management. Collaborate with stakeholders to conduct strategic planning to fulfill GCITC CRC mission and objectives. Support the implementation of GCITC CRC educational research and entrepreneurial programs aligned with the center's vision. Business development and operations: identify and execute growth opportunities and new revenue streams, including sector expansion, partnerships, and contract management. Oversee staffing, budgeting, and contracting; lead one coordinator position and collaborate with the Assistant Director Operations, CRC, and staff. Guide funding, resource allocation, and service expansion using knowledge of finance, workforce planning, contracting, and partnerships. Demonstrate leadership, mentoring, and talent development; contribute to executive policy and strategic guidance. Ensure efficient operation of GCITC CRC service deliverables through appropriate resources. Workforce enablement and stakeholder communication: allocate team capacity, conduct workforce planning, and establish hiring/retention processes to sustain scalable delivery. Translate complex cybersecurity concepts and risk into clear communications; maintain alignment, transparency, and continued investment. Recruit, hire, and retain qualified staff; support and develop key client relationships. Portfolio execution and resource management: coordinate multiple CRC initiatives by managing schedules, scope, dependencies, and quality across the project lifecycle while sustaining governance. Apply knowledge of resource management, procurement, budgeting, supply chain risk, and security integration to enable compliant, cost-effective delivery. Balance priorities, apply cost-benefit analysis, and embed continuity planning to optimize results. Assist in SAV scheduling and logistics; align resources, guide vendor decisions, and deliver the CRC portfolio with fiscal discipline. Financial performance and viability: develop resources to ensure financial health; maintain fiscal integrity with P&L responsibility, budgets, and KPI reporting; manage resources within approved budget and maintain a positive financial position. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Required: Bachelor\'s degree from an accredited college or university and ten or more years of program and/or project management experience, including leading process improvement initiatives. Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent experience; proven record of transparent, high-integrity leadership in managing cybersecurity frameworks and processes; knowledge of cybersecurity industry, trends, and opportunities; federal government or military experience. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Proficient in Microsoft Office; hands-on budget management; strong organizational, communication, and public speaking skills; ability to maintain confidentiality; ability to convey a strategic vision and collaborate with stakeholders. Shift, Salary, and Benefits

Shift: Days/Mon-Fri (work outside normal hours may be required) Pay Band: B17 Salary: Minimum $109,500 annually; salary to be commensurate with qualifications within the established range Benefits include health/dental/life insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, holidays, and tuition assistance eligibility after six months of full-time employment.
