Job Description Summary Advanced Technology Strategic Sourcing Leader will develop and influence strategy across the buying and delivery teams within ATO Sourcing. The focus is on creating a dedicated advanced combat supply base and moving suppliers from development to full‑rate production. The role drives initiatives across the Edison Works Sourcing team to eliminate waste and enhance efficiencies, collaborating with leaders in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Program, Finance, Product Operations, and Compliance to influence policy and achieve business outcomes through GE Aerospace Flight Deck Lean principles.

Roles and Responsibilities

Optimize part and material definitions at the R&D stage to improve sourcing efficiency.

Apply deep expertise within the discipline, exercising commercial awareness and influencing strategy, resource control, and policy formulation.

Lead functional teams or projects with limited resources, risk, or complexity, communicating complex concepts and guiding others’ perspectives.

Impact the team’s ability to meet service, quality, and timeliness objectives; advise management and support decision‑making on key subjects.

Use high-level judgment to solve complex problems, assess information quality, ask pertinent questions, propose new solutions, and provide recommendations using internal and external sources.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college.

Minimum of 5 years of sourcing, procurement, or related experience.

U.S. Citizen.

Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Salary and Benefits Salary range: $116,000 - $154,000 USD annually. Performance bonus/variable incentive plan applicable. Additional Information This role requires access to U.S. export‑controlled information.
