As a Supplier Performance Manager (SPM), you will interface with the purchasing and supplier quality teams, and its supply base, to improve supplier performance. The role involves deep diving suppliers and its sub‑tiers to identify risks, drive on‑time/on‑quality delivery, and industrialization/production readiness. Regular onsite and/or remote follow‑up with each assigned supplier will be required, as well as regular reporting to internal and/or external stakeholders and customers.

What YOU will do
Responsible for the assessment, approvals, and monitoring of suppliers
Reports on a regular basis results, risks, projects and general information relative to the suppliers to internal and/or external stakeholders and customers as required
Support the development of suppliers (Supplier Development)
In charge of the implementation of the Supplier Performance management strategy for respective suppliers
Flow down performance targets to suppliers and associated team members
Define Supplier Development key targets based on business requirements and manage their flow down and implementation
Define the Supplier Surveillance Plan and the audit schedule
Monitor and communicate supplier performance actions and plans (risks and mitigation plan, supplier production readiness, etc.)
Implement relevant Supplier Key Performance Indicators to properly monitor supplier performance
What YOU must bring to Succeed
Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain or related field, 3+ years of experience with a Quality System, and 2+ years materials and/or purchasing and/or lean manufacturing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
3+ years management or supervisory experience strongly preferred
Ability to travel frequently, as needed

Strong analytical skill set mandatory; prefer advanced Microsoft (Excel, PowerPoint) skills
Familiar with ERP systems (Oracle and/or SAP desired) and SRM
Ability to influence others and lead small teams while also being able to work independently
