
Bilingual Customer Service Specialist (Spanish)

Customer Service Specialists work closely with wholesale and retail customers to determine their needs, answer questions about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend the right solutions. They promptly resolve any customer concerns, ensure maximum client satisfaction, stay up-to-date with product features, maintain high quality and visual standards, and consistently meet the store’s sales goals. This is a part‑time position.
The selected candidate will work at Store #2617, located at 2490 McFarland Blvd, Northport, AL 35476. Duties include customer contact, managing cash and payment methods, operating electronic equipment, handling personal information, and handling store merchandise. Work may involve supervised or unsupervised access to valuable items.
Responsibilities
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services
Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers
Process sales transactions accurately and consistently with policies and procedures
Achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
Maintain precise work order files and forms
Retrieve products from the sales floor or warehouse
Tint and mix products to customer specifications when needed
Stock shelves and set up displays
Clean store equipment
Load and unload delivery trucks
Assist in making deliveries as needed
Maintain in‑stock and presentable condition of assigned areas
Stay knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options
Follow inventory control procedures
Suggest ways to improve sales
Minimum Requirements
At least eighteen (18) years of age
Legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
Fluent in English and Spanish (reading, writing, comprehension, and communication)
Unrestricted Driver’s License
Ability to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs on occasion
Willingness to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation
Internal employees must have at least a “meets expectations” rating on most recent performance appraisal and completed all required HR Cloud eLearning courses for current position
Preferred Qualifications
High School diploma or GED
At least one year of experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service role
Experience selling paint and paint‑related products
Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
