Job Overview As a Field Merchandiser, you will work independently to showcase organizational and time‑management skills and build retailer relationships while representing Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support team members with seasonal resets and installations as needed.

Salary and Schedule Details

Your starting hourly pay rate will be $11.00–$13.00 depending on your skills and experience.

Paid training is provided through live, hands‑on instruction and virtual classroom sessions.

Part‑time employees are offered voluntary benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage.

Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.

This is a part‑time position with a variable schedule.

Average weekly hours are 7–10 per week.

Availability during the week before and after major holidays (including weekends) is required.

Availability to support seasonal changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Engage with the Hallmark department in various retail stores such as grocery stores, drug stores, department stores, and mass merchandisers.

Use a mobile device to restock, organize, and monitor inventory; use technology for reporting, feedback, and surveys.

Provide professional interaction with store employees, management, and customers; oversee the entire Hallmark product display at assigned stores.

Support seasonal demand by working additional days and extended hours during holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

Assist with department resets, including installation of Hallmark fixtures, relocation of card departments, and resetting card sections; plan may require evenings or weekends.

Partner with the network of merchandisers to support other team members as needed.

Physical Requirements The job is physically demanding. You must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry cartons and fixtures up to 30 pounds daily and up to 50 pounds occasionally. You must also kneel, squat, walk, stand, climb stairs, and use step ladders.

Basic Qualifications

Minimum of 18 years of age.

Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding English.

Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.

Comfortable operating a digital handheld device for reading documents.

Access to a Wi‑Fi network and internet.

Reliable transportation to travel between assigned stores.
