We’re seeking a
Director of Early Childhood Programs
to lead and elevate a portfolio of high-impact early education initiatives, including
Head Start, Early Head Start, VPK, and School Readiness programs .
This is a
hands-on leadership role
driving operational excellence, compliance, and program outcomes across multiple locations.
What You’ll Own
Lead
multi-site operations
across early childhood programs
Drive
program performance, compliance, and quality improvement
Ensure adherence to
Head Start Performance Standards
Oversee
curriculum implementation, staff development, and program delivery
Partner with leadership on
funding, reporting, and strategic initiatives
Build and mentor
high-performing teams across multiple locations
5–8+ years
of leadership experience in early childhood programs
Proven
multi-site / multi-program oversight
(this is key)
Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (Master’s preferred)
Strong knowledge of
Head Start and federally funded program compliance
Experience leading
large teams, operations, and reporting
Not a fit for single-site Center Directors without broader oversight experience
