About Dunmore International Corp:
Acquired by Steel Partners in February 2018 as part of the Diversified Industrial Segment, Dunmore manufactures innovative technical films for Aerospace, Automotive, Commercial Graphics, Packaging applications. Dunmore has deep expertise in novel coatings, films and multi-layer laminates based on 14,000 unique chemistries and constructions, and significant experience in handling foils, plastics and fabrics.
As a trusted Industry partner for over 50 years, Dunmore collaborates with customers in high growth markets to design, develop and manufacture a range of highly engineered value-added product solutions.
Dunmore clients include several Fortune 500 companies across 25+ countries and is a Gold Level Supplier to one of the world's largest aircraft manufacturers.
Dunmore's mission is to delight its customers through technical innovation, high levels of service and open collaboration to solve difficult application problems.
Summary
The Aerospace Inside Sales Representative is a core commercial role responsible for driving revenue growth across Dunmore's aerospace and defense accounts. You'll work directly with engineering teams, program managers, and thermal engineers at a defined list of aerospace customers. You will manage the full opportunity lifecycle from initial qualification through specification, sampling, quoting, and close.
This role requires a proactive, pipeline-minded seller who can bridge technical discussions with commercial outcomes. You'll develop deep familiarity with Dunmore's material solutions and become a trusted advisor to customers navigating program requirements and new platform development.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Aerospace Account & Program Engagement
Own and grow a defined portfolio of aerospace accounts - both new customer acquisition and expansion within existing relationships.
Engage directly with thermal engineers, program managers, and procurement teams to uncover application needs and match them to Dunmore solutions.
Serve as the primary commercial point of contact throughout the program lifecycle, ensuring continuity of engagement from specification through production.
Identify new specification opportunities on active and emerging platforms, including redesigns and new program launches.
Pipeline Ownership & Sales Execution
Own the aerospace opportunity pipeline end-to-end - from lead qualification through close - with discipline and urgency.
Qualify and convert inbound inquiries from marketing campaigns, trade shows, technical requests, and existing account activity.
Drive quoting, sampling coordination, and consistent follow-up to advance opportunities at every stage.
Build pipeline momentum by proactively identifying opportunities tied to new platforms, program transitions, and specification cycles.
Technical & Commercial Alignment
Develop working knowledge of Dunmore's aerospace product portfolio: coated, metallized, and laminated films, foils, and fabrics.
Translate customer application requirements into actionable internal briefs for R&D, engineering, operations, and quality teams.
Ensure seamless alignment between what customers need and what Dunmore can deliver - closing gaps early and communicating proactively.
CRM Discipline & Sales Visibility (Non-Negotiable)
Maintain real-time, accurate pipeline data in Salesforce - opportunity stage, activity log, next steps, and projected close dates.
Use CRM as a daily operating tool, not a reporting afterthought: drive prioritization, follow-up cadence, and velocity metrics from the data.
Ensure 100% capture of customer interactions, program updates, and opportunity progression to enable accurate forecasting and team visibility.
Contribute to ongoing improvement of pipeline hygiene and sales process discipline across the aerospace commercial team.
