Position Summary
InEight is seeking a curious, organized, and motivated
High School Marketing Intern
to join our Marketing team for a structured 9-week summer internship. This part-time internship is designed to provide broad exposure to how modern marketing works across strategy, brand, content, web, email, analytics, paid media, social, product marketing, customer marketing, and events.
Through guided learning, shadowing opportunities, and low-risk hands‑on assignments, the intern will gain a practical understanding of how marketing functions work individually and together. The program is designed to be confidence‑building and exploratory, helping the intern leave with a stronger understanding of marketing as a career path and a portfolio of small but meaningful work samples.
Responsibilities
Participate in a structured summer internship program spanning multiple marketing functions and disciplines.
Learn how marketing strategy connects to brand, audience, funnel stages, channels, and measurement.
Attend team meetings, planning discussions, reviews, and shadow opportunities to observe real marketing work in action.
Support guided, low-risk projects with oversight from marketing team members.
Contribute to small weekly deliverables such as content outlines, journey maps, message grids, social calendars, email drafts, and campaign materials.
Maintain a running “Marketing Field Guide” to capture terminology, examples, takeaways, and reflections throughout the internship.
Build an integrated capstone mini‑campaign plan over the course of the program.
Present final work, key learnings, and reflections at the end of the internship.
These responsibilities reflect the internship’s week‑by‑week structure, which includes exposure to brand foundations, audiences, content, GEO, web, email, reporting, paid media, social, video, product marketing, customer marketing, community, events, and a final capstone presentation.
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in high school.
Strong interest in marketing, communications, business, or creative work.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Organized, dependable, and willing to learn.
Comfortable asking questions, taking feedback, and trying new tasks.
Able to manage assignments, notes, and follow‑through across multiple workstreams.
Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office or similar tools.
Able to work collaboratively with a variety of team members in a professional remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Interest in content creation, storytelling, branding, social media, or digital marketing.
Experience with school projects, clubs, volunteer work, or extracurricular activities that demonstrate initiative and communication skills.
Curiosity about how businesses use marketing to connect strategy, messaging, channels, and measurement.
Program Details

Typical workdays are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
Approximately 15 hours per week
Program dates: June 2, 2026 through July 30, 2026
