SP Studios is Canadas most capable virtual production facility — a 1.9mm pixel pitch LED volume in Mississauga built with ARRI Solutions, the only Bolt X and Bolt Jr+ motion control robots in the country, and a full ARRI/Sony/Leitz camera and grip package. We work with leading advertising agencies, production companies, and in-house brand studios across North America. Were expanding our US footprint and we need someone whos already in the room.
This is a relationship role. Were not looking for someone who can pitch cold — were looking for someone whose calls get returned. If youve spent years selling production services, post, VFX, or stage facilities to agencies and production companies in New York or Chicago, we want to talk.
WHAT YOULL DO Own the US market — introduce SP Studios to advertising agencies, production companies, and in-house brand studios across New York and Chicago
Leverage existing relationships with agency EPs, production company heads, and brand creative leads to generate briefs, site visits, and bookings
Represent the studio at industry events — AICP, APA, and sector-specific touchpoints where production decisions get made
Articulate the full turnkey value proposition: virtual production, motion control, AI-forward workflows, Ontario non-union advantage, and CAD/USD currency savings
Collaborate closely with the executive team on proposals, packaging, and deal strategy
WHO YOU ARE 8–15 years in the advertising production ecosystem — selling production services, post, VFX, or stage facilities to agencies and production companies
You have a network — agency EPs, production company producers, and brand creative leads who know you, trust you, and take your calls
You understand how production jobs get awarded and how vendor relationships actually work — not in theory, from having lived it
Based in New York or Chicago, with the ability to travel between both markets and visit the studio in Toronto
Genuinely curious about virtual production, LED technology, and where AI is taking the industry
