
Real Estate Debt Origination Analyst

We are partnered with one of the world's leading real estate investment managers to identify an Analyst for their Real Estate Debt Origination team. The firm manages $75B in assets under management, with a dedicated Debt platform of approximately $40B; one of the largest institutional real estate credit businesses globally.
This is a high‑visibility seat with direct exposure to senior originators and a genuine opportunity to quarterback live transactions from origination through closing. You'll work on screening, modeling, preparing IC memos, and other operational task pre‑close.
Responsibilities Day‑to‑day responsibilities
Support origination efforts by evaluating inbound opportunities and assisting in sponsor and broker outreach
Underwrite debt transactions across multifamily, industrial, office, retail, and mixed‑use assets
Build and stress‑test financial models covering cash flow, debt sizing, scenario analysis, and return attribution
Conduct property, market, and sponsor due diligence; synthesize findings into actionable credit views
Quarterback transactions internally managing timelines, workstreams, and third‑party due diligence through to closing
Prepare and present IC materials to senior leadership and investment committee
Requirements
1–3 years in real estate debt, commercial lending, real estate investment banking, or structured finance
Solid grasp of real estate credit fundamentals—LTV, DSCR, debt yield, cap rates
Clear, confident written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor's degree in finance from top academic university, real estate, economics, or related field
