Overview Seasonal Customer Service Representative provides superior, friendly, and efficient transactions and offers company-approved services and products to create a positive experience for all customers. The position also facilitates the rental process through verification and documentation of all necessary driver information to ensure an efficient and timely rental and return experience. The seasonal employment window begins in mid‑May 2026, ends on or before October 31, 2026, and cannot exceed a total of 150 days. This position pays $19.00/h and is located in an office in the Middletown, RI area. Multiple schedules are available, inclusive of weekends and holidays, and full‑time (40 hrs/wk) schedules are being hired. Schedules will be discussed during the interview process.

Responsibilities

Meet and greet customers in a professional, friendly, and timely manner

Provide superior, efficient customer service by understanding and communicating rental terms and conditions, vehicle features, and other services, which includes offering optional protection products, upgrades, fuel options, and other additional equipment

Offer additional customer assistance by providing directions, maps, local area information, and appropriate service information

Answer incoming calls for reservations, rate quotes, general questions, provide information and resolution for customers, other branches, and other vendors

Place outgoing calls for callback management and miscellaneous calls as assigned

Assist in assessing the condition of rental upon return

Notify management of any known customer problems

Notify management of any known vehicle problems and any required maintenance

Continuously build knowledge and skills, pursue on‑the‑job training, and leverage any company‑sponsored classroom training opportunities

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old

High school diploma or GED required

Must currently have a valid U.S. driver’s license with no more than two moving violations and/or at‑fault accidents within the past three years

No drug or alcohol related conviction on record (DWI/DUI) in the past five years

Must have at least six months of prior customer service experience

Must have basic level experience and understanding of a PC and Microsoft Office products

Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by the company for this position now or in the future
