Full-Time Property Manager
for an affordable multi-family apartment community in Baltimore, MD. Habitat America, LLC is largely based in the Mid-Atlantic region.
Responsibilities The Property Manager is the face of the property and must be trustworthy with excellent customer service, written and oral communication skills, and attention to detail. The role requires: managing an affordable housing community, ensuring compliance with program requirements (HUD/Tax Credit where applicable), maintaining tenant relations, and supporting property operations to meet budget and reporting requirements.
Key duties include overseeing daily property operations, coordinating with leasing, maintenance, and vendors, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and record-keeping.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience as a HUD/Tax Credit Property Manager
Experience with Tax Credit properties; Tax Credit Specialist (TCS) or COS certification is a plus
Excellent communications and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and follow directions
Yardi software experience is a plus
Experience reviewing monthly operating statements, budget-to-actual variances, and cash flow control
Ability to produce reports and monthly financials accurately and timely
Experience certifying and re-certifying resident income in accordance with applicable regulations
Advanced experience with HUD regulations and related paperwork
