Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Property Tax Appraiser located in San Diego, CA, with the flexibility to work remotely part-time. The Property Tax Appraiser will analyze property data, conduct valuations for secured and unsecured properties, and prepare detailed property tax appeal reports. Additional responsibilities include researching property tax codes, interacting with county assessors’ offices, preparing comprehensive documentation for Assessment Appeals Boards, and consulting with clients to guide them through the tax appeal process.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to assess property valuations accurately.
Proficiency in research and interpretation of property tax laws and regulations.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and preparing concise reports.
Familiarity with real estate markets and experience in handling possessory interests, real estate, or business property tax assessments.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and property tax assessment software.
Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple assignments in a hybrid work environment.
Experience with property tax appeals or relevant roles in taxation or accounting is a plus.
