Role Description The Director, Leave Management, will oversee the institution's leave administration programs, including medical leaves, parental leaves, and other employment-related leaves, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. Responsibilities include developing policies, managing workflows, guiding managers and employees, and ensuring seamless integration of leave processes with the organization’s operational goals. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Providence, RI.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of leave management, including medical leave laws, Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and other relevant compliance frameworks
Proficiency in designing and implementing leave policies and programs
Experience in team leadership, with the ability to train and support staff effectively
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively guide employees and liaise with internal stakeholders
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills for managing workflows and resolving complex leave management issues
Familiarity with human resources systems and leave management tools
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Experience in higher education or healthcare industry is a plus
