
Social Media Intern

The Brand Guild is looking for interns to work with our Social Media team! We are a creative and passionate group of experts across Public Relations, Marketing, Events, and Creative that build strategies, create experiences and influence audiences for our clients. Please Note
Interns will receive a stipend of $2,500 (assuming successful completion of the internship session)
Interns are required to work a minimum of 16 hours per week
This Internship is hybrid, with at least one day a week in our DC Office
You Will
Assist with the creation of content calendars, social media playbooks, roadmaps, and campaigns
Brainstorm and write social media copy across all platforms for a variety of clients
Assist with community engagement efforts for clients by actively engaging with online communities, managing comments, seeking out excellent user-generated content, and finding opportunities to join relevant conversations
Lead, develop, and execute Instagram Story strategy for a variety of clients
Proof and schedule posts across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Twitter using Sprout Social
Compile research on new and existing clients while monitoring their competitive set in order to target key audiences and engage with new users
Audit internal and client social channels and determine opportunities for improvementManage and organize Dropbox folders for social clients
Other tasks as required to support the Social Media Team
You Have
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Passion for current and emerging trends in social media and content marketing
Exemplary attention to detail
A keen eye for compelling visuals
Excellent work ethic, with a positive attitude
Solutions-oriented problem-solving skills
Experience crafting copy for social media and/or managing social media accounts is a plus
Experience with graphic design and/or Canva is a plus
