Job Description This is a full-time Hotwire role, hybrid and open to candidates located within 100 miles of our New York City or San Francisco office location.

We seek a leader who will manage client relationships, lead teams, and contribute to agency success. Directors own and manage a portfolio of clients from relationship management to strategy development and vision with an eye toward revenue and profitability targets. Directors also contribute to agency initiatives such as marketing, business development, and new product/service development as a member of the extended management team.

The daily responsibilities below summarize what you will do.

Daily responsibilities Own client relationships and manage accounts spanning Consumer/B2C, Consumer Tech, Marketing & e-Commerce

Execute efficient and effective financial and corporate communications plans

Deliver excellent client service across a group of client accounts

Demonstrate leadership of the highest standards for accounts and teams

Contribute to agency success through business development and product development

Retain and promote top-performing direct reports

Ensure direct reports meet utilization targets

Drive new business development, manage leads from start to finish, and win new accounts as needed to maintain account revenue

Proficiently use Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)

Qualifications You’ll Bring:

Experience in an agency as a Senior Account Manager/Senior Account Supervisor, Director or in-house communications PR Director in B2C technology sectors (Consumer Tech, Consumer, Enterprise Tech, Marketing & e-Commerce)

A love for storytelling, media strategy, and media relations with large global brands

Experience supporting corporate communications programs with C-suite executives (including CEO) and external communications recommendations

Experience with financial communications and earnings announcements for publicly traded companies

Strong written and presentation communication skills, with the ability to present ideas and make a case to clients and partner agencies

Hands-on experience managing and mentoring direct reports and cross-functional teammates

Curiosity about how the business works and how you contribute to the organizations success

A drive to produce excellent work and a pragmatic, goal-oriented mindset

A positive, authentic, solution-oriented team player with a good sense of humor

Compensation Compensation Range: $98,000 - $137,000, depending on experience

The compensation range is one component of Hotwire’s total package, which includes bonuses and a variety of benefits described elsewhere in this posting.
