What You Will Do

The Associate Director – Classified Networking (M6) reports to the Director of Classified Infrastructure Services and leads the Classified Networking organization. Key responsibilities include: strategic technical and long‑term budget planning, technical debt management, solution catalog contribution, and day‑to‑day operational support. The role ensures a stable, proactive, secure, and supportable operational environment across all Strategic Business Units (SBUs). The leader will develop and deploy talent, strengthen relationships with internal and external peers, and coordinate with enterprise organizations to support OneRTX roadmaps. Additional focus is on aligning with key partners—engineers, program leaders, security teams, and vendors—while representing the discipline to customers and senior leadership. The position is on‑premises with relocation support to Tucson, AZ when required.

Required Qualifications

University degree (or equivalent) with minimum 12 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 10 years.

Proven experience leading technology teams in a professional environment.

Experience in workforce planning, resource management, project management, and financial (budget/portfolio) management.

Active, transferable U.S. government‑issued Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications

Negotiation in new business and program stand‑up.

Experience with Networking and related technologies.

Customer‑facing engagement, SBU leadership, and engineering collaboration.

Leadership experience in Digital Technology or IT organizations.

Classified computing experience, especially in Top Secret or Special Access Program (SAP) environments.

Presentation to senior leadership and implementation of newer technologies (e.g., cloud).

Knowledge of network management tools, business continuity, disaster recovery, and IT security frameworks (DFARs, CMMC, RMF, DAPM, JSIG).

Strong communication, influence, and change‑management skills.

BS in Computer Science or Engineering; advanced technical degree (MS, PhD) preferred.

US Top Secret clearance preferred.
