About the role CHANEL is looking for a Specialist to join the Fragrance & Beauty Retail & Trade Marketing team in New York, NY. This role provides transversal operational and project support across multiple retail partners, helping ensure that marketing initiatives and in-store activations are executed seamlessly across the business. Working closely with Brand Management, Artistic Direction, Procurement & Development, and Operations Excellence, this role plays a key part in coordinating the operational components of retail activations and supporting the processes that bring campaigns to life across our retail network. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of experience in marketing operations, retail marketing, project coordination, or a related field and is highly organized, detail-oriented, and energized by managing complex workflows while partnering across teams to deliver exceptional retail experiences.

What impact you can create at CHANEL

Manage the kitting process including coordinating quantities with internal partners, submitting internal orders, and partnering with Operations Excellence team to ensure smooth execution.

Partner with Operations Excellence and external vendors to coordinate installation timelines and ensure smooth execution of activations and visual updates across the network.

Assist in briefing multi-retailer activations to creative and production teams, supporting the development of retail elements such as client stoppers and other in-store tools.

Contribute to budget tracking and reconciliation for retail activations.

Help strengthen processes, timelines, and operational rigor across the Retail & Trade Marketing team.

What you will bring to the team

1–3 years of experience in marketing operations, retail marketing, project coordination, or a related field.

Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.

Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through in managing logistics and operational processes.

Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams.

Ability to manage operational complexity while maintaining visibility into timelines and deliverables.

Proficiency in Excel and project management tools such as Smartsheet.

Position logistics

Partially Remote: Role requires a minimum of three days in-person office presence at the NYC Office.

1–3 years of experience.

Bachelor’s degree required.

New York, NY (3 days/week).

Compensation

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $61,400 through $92,000. Base salary is one component of the total compensation for this position. Other forms of variable pay [may/will] be offered for this position. Other components [may/will] include bonus potential, benefits, and/or perks.
