The Opportunity The Sales Planner role at MiQ balances strategic thinking, efficiency, and communication. It calls for a motivated, outgoing self‑starter who takes a proactive approach and looks out for client interests. This is our first Social Media Expert, essential to our expansion into the Paid Social space.
What You’ll Be Doing
Project Management
Design and recommend channel mix, budget allocation, and channel roles for programmatic and social to deliver harmonized success.
Apply best practices in targeting, segmentation, placement allocation, and measurement strategy to social activation.
Create client‑ready deliverables that showcase the strategy clearly and concisely.
Internal Collaboration
Partner with Social, Solutions and Trading teams to tailor MiQ’s social product suite to client needs.
Build relationships with internal stakeholders and collaborate across differences to find solutions.
Communication
Communicate clearly with teammates and stakeholders, adapting style to influence outcomes.
Stay current on MiQ product capabilities and industry trends to inform teams.
Innovation
Collaborate with Sales Leads during presale to grow existing business and win new accounts.
Continuously learn and research latest social capabilities within MiQ and the broader ecosystem.
Your Qualifications
2+ years in ad tech and/or media planning.
1+ year hands‑on experience managing social platforms (Facebook/Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok); YouTube preferred.
Proficiency in Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, etc.
Understanding of paid media, full‑funnel marketing, and the advertising industry, and ability to collaborate and communicate expertise.
Knowledge of the digital programmatic ecosystem and the vendor‑agency‑advertiser dynamic.
Ability to succeed in an energetic work environment with tight deadlines.
Track record of improving internal processes and sharing knowledge.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Translate abstract ideas into actionable solutions.
Detail‑oriented, ability to prioritize multiple projects to completion.
Desire to learn new systems, technologies, and advertising techniques.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Can‑do attitude, energy, drive, and enthusiasm.

Compensation Range (Pay Range) For positions in the above locations, MiQ estimates a compensation range of $60,000–$75,000. The range may vary for other locations. Candidates will discuss compensation details with the Talent team and Hiring Managers; bonus and commission packages apply.
