Overview The Outside Sales Representative plays a key role in turning in-home appointments into booked moves. Every customer you meet is going through a major life moment. Your job is to step in, understand their needs, and guide them through a clear, thoughtful plan that helps them feel confident moving forward. This is not just an estimating role. You are responsible for building trust, owning the relationship, and helping customers make a decision. You’ll work with high-quality opportunities while also building relationships in the local market to generate repeat and referral business.

Key Responsibilities In-Home Consultations

Conduct in-home walkthroughs with customers

Assess inventory, access, risks, and special handling needs

Gather accurate details to create a complete move plan

Clearly present pricing, scope, and timeline

Help customers feel confident choosing us

Outbound Follow-Up & Pipeline Management

Execute a consistent follow-up cadence for all open opportunities

Re-engage past estimates and keep deals moving forward

Maintain a clean, organized pipeline in the CRM at all times

Proactively reach out to warm leads to drive bookings

Sales Performance & Closing

Own each opportunity from first appointment to booking

Consistently hit or exceed monthly revenue and close rate targets

Handle objections with confidence and clarity

Guide customers toward a decision in a helpful, professional way

Protect pricing and margins while maintaining a strong close rate

Follow up consistently until a clear outcome is reached

Referral & Relationship Building

Build relationships with realtors, property managers, and referral partners

Generate self-sourced leads and repeat business

Represent the company in the local market
