Overview

Actively participate in day-to-day customer service and on-site sales. Handle all aspects of the customer experience, over the phone, in person and in email communication ensuring a high level of satisfaction and technical know-how. Daily activities involve representing all of the company\'s products and services within the Welding, Gas, and Specialty Gas industry while staying current with industry regulations, guidelines and compliance for the company. Engage with a wide variety of customer requests while thinking on your feet, troubleshooting, resolving conflicts and exceeding expectations for everything the company has to offer Provide on-the-spot creative solutions for customer issues in the industrial as well as the specialty gas fields as needed Become an expert at everything CK Supply offers through training opportunities and taking the initiative to ask questions Organize, clean, and maintain the showroom and retail area of responsibility to ensure a pleasant experience for all customers and guests Perform effectively under stress, while maintaining a positive and professional attitude Be willing to wear multiple hats and go above and beyond to get the job done to assist the customer including troubleshooting issues over the phone on a regular basis Exercise sound judgement and business acumen to make decisions that will improve results and help surpass goals for the company Communicate with the customer\'s Account Managers to coordinate pricing and to discuss leads and quotes Follow and enforce all safety guidelines and requirements including proper personal protective equipment for employees and visitors Adhere to the CK Core Values through behavior and words Other duties, as assigned, within the job classification and business Qualifications/Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent, required 5 years of customer service experience in same or similar industry, preferred Experience within the welding and specialty gas environment is a plus Experience in quality control, strong math background, analytical or ability to communicate standards and attention to detail is a must Ability to learn and use computer software programs fast and accurately Ability to stoop, twist, bend, kneel, and lift merchandise/equipment up to 50 pounds Ability to stand for long periods of time Ability to read, count and write to accurately complete paperwork Ability to use a cash register and provide correct change Safety Note
