Claims Representative - Personal Lines Auto

Overview
We are currently seeking an auto claims representative to join our growing Personal Lines Auto team. This position will be based in our newly renovated Boston office, directly across the street from South Station. This is a great opportunity, in a great space, for someone who is eager to share their experience, provide excellent customer service to our customers, join our growing team, and continue their career with a financially sound company.
Responsibilities
Contact insureds, claimants, attorneys, and other parties related to an auto accident.
Proficient in communicating in a variety of ways, including phone, text, email, etc.
Investigate all assigned claims for coverage, liability, and damages.
Ensure timely disposition of all claims in accordance with regulatory and statutory requirements.
Responsible for timely payment of auto repairs and resolution of total losses.
Ensure adherence to personal lines policies including related coverages and exclusions.
Determine liability of parties involved in a loss, including application of comparative negligence.
Effectively manage workload through claims management and imaging systems.
Qualifications
0-2 years of auto claims handling experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to communicate effectively via phone, text, email and other written correspondence.
Demonstrated level of competency in time management, priority setting and customer focus.
Experience using a claims management and imaging system.
Bachelor’s Degree or commensurate experience

The pay range for this position is $47,000 - $60,000 annually. Actual compensation will vary based on multiple factors, including employee knowledge and experience, role scope, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
