We are looking for a detail-oriented Mortgage Document Review Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will review corporate entity, trust, and leasehold documentation (e.g., living trust agreements, LLC operating agreements, articles of organization, corporate resolutions, leasehold agreements and similar instruments) to determine whether they meet the requirements of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and individual investor guidelines. Your day-to-day work will include: Reviewing living trust agreements against FNMA/FHLMC eligibility requirements and identifying any provisions that would prevent or require amendment for loan approval Reviewing LLC, corporation, and partnership documentation against both agency guidelines and investor-specific overlays to confirm borrower eligibility, ownership thresholds, authorized purposes, and signing authority Accessing investor intranet portals to research and apply lender-specific entity and trust requirements Determining proper signature line setup and execution requirements based on entity type, governing documents, and investor rules Communicating review findings clearly to lender clients Supporting the legal team with related document review tasks such as powers of attorney, deed restrictions, or other similiar documentation, as needed This is an analytical, production-oriented role. You will develop deep expertise in investor guidelines and become the go-to resource for entity and trust eligibility questions. 2+ years of experience in mortgage lending, title, closing, or compliance Familiarity with residential mortgage loan documents (title commitments, closing disclosures, deeds of trust, etc.) Strong reading comprehension and analytical skills, as you will be interpreting legal documents against detailed guideline requirements daily Excellent attention to detail and ability to work through a high volume of reviews accurately Strong written communication skills for conveying complex review findings to clients Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience Preferred

Experience reviewing trust or entity documents in a mortgage, title, or closing environment Familiarity with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac Selling Guide requirements Paralegal certificate or coursework (not required) Experience with investor overlay guidelines or secondary market requirements Benefits
