Pelham Hospitality is seeking a creative, motivated Marketing & Content Intern to join our team for the summer season. This is a hands‑on, content‑focused role ideal for someone passionate about social media, storytelling, and capturing real‑time experiences across a dynamic hospitality environment.
The intern will work closely with the marketing team to support content creation and execution across our portfolio of hotels, restaurants, events, and experiences.
Responsibilities
Capture and create photo and video content across hotels, restaurants, weddings, and events
Assist in executing social media content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn
Attend events, activations, and peak service times to document guest experiences in real time
Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and execute creative, on‑brand content ideas
Edit short‑form video content (Reels, TikTok) and assist with visual storytelling
Support marketing campaigns, promotions, and on‑site activations
Engage with guests across digital platforms by monitoring messages and comments
Assist with website updates, blog content, and email marketing
Conduct research on social media trends, competitors, and industry insights
Schedule & Work Environment
Schedule will vary week‑to‑week based on content needs
Availability required for evenings, weekends, and events
Role involves working across multiple properties and locations
Qualifications
Strong interest in social media, content creation, and marketing
Creative mindset with a strong eye for detail and aesthetics
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment
Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, and Canva (Adobe Creative Suite is a plus)
Ability to capture and edit creative content on a smartphone and/or camera
Education
Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, Hospitality, or a related field

Physical Requirements

Must be able to sit, stand or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift (range from 8-12 hours).
Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
Work environment includes a fast‑paced setting with varying noise and temperature levels.
Shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
