
Staff Experience Researcher

Job Description Summary
This position is critical to the success of our branded checkout product, specifically for the post‑purchase experience. The role will lead research in the post‑purchase space to better understand and support consumer needs. The manager acts as a thought partner, identifying issues and recommending best practices for user‑experience research. They lead functional projects that enhance user experiences based on research findings and collaborate with stakeholders to analyze business trends. Developing and implementing research methodologies, the manager contributes to continuous improvement in research practices and team efficiencies.
Essential Responsibilities
Develop clear plans and priorities to gather insights and make data‑driven decisions to meet team performance
Perform more complex analysis using highly specialized product knowledge and advanced business expertise
Lead functional projects and programs that enhance user experiences based on research findings
Design methodologies including user testing, surveys and data analysis to understand business needs and industry trends
Develop and implement research methodologies that optimize user testing and data collection processes
Contribute to the continuous improvement of research practices and team efficiencies
Expected Qualifications
5+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Compensation Base pay depends on location and experience:
Chicago, Illinois: $145,000.00 – $215,050.00 annually
Austin, Texas: $145,000.00 – $215,050.00 annually
Additional compensation may include an annual performance bonus, equity, or other incentive compensation, as applicable.
