Producers Midstream is a private equity-backed midstream service provider based in Dallas, TX.
PM is seeking an HR Generalist with strong recruitment expertise, including proactive sourcing and engagement of passive candidate. This position is based in our Dallas corporate office and is not remote.
SUMMARY
The HR Generalist/Recruiter partners closely with the HR Director to support and execute all aspects of Human Resources operations. This role is responsible for full-cycle recruiting—primarily focused on plant operations roles—interviewing, benefits administration, compensation support, onboarding, compliance, reporting, and general HR functions. The position requires a proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized HR professional capable of managing both day-to-day operations and strategic HR initiatives.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Talent Acquisition and Staffing
Lead heavy recruiting efforts with a strong concentration on plant recruiting, including operators, technicians, maintenance roles, and other field-based positions.
Perform proactive sourcing, resume review, screening, interviewing, and coordinating hiring manager interviews.
Conduct structured interviews, assist hiring managers with interview best practices, and support panel interviews.
Process background checks, drug screens, and offer letters for all new hires to ensure compliance and timely onboarding.
Attend, plan, and represent the company at job fairs to support hiring needs across all locations.
Partner with technical schools and training programs to identify entry-level candidates for all sites in TX, OK, and NM.
Create offer letters and ensure accuracy and compliance with all hiring documentation.
Partner with drug testing vendor to coordinate DOT-required drug testing and prior drug and alcohol history checks for pre-hires.
Build and maintain talent pipelines through proactive outreach and networking.
Onboarding & Offboarding
Manage all aspects of new hire onboarding including offer letters, paperwork, orientation, I-9s, E-Verify and IT user requests.
Process Offboard paperwork related to benefits.
Benefits Administration
Benefits administration of medical, dental, vision, disability, HSA/FSA, and voluntary benefits.
Assist HR Director with Open Enrollment from planning through execution, including employee communications, carrier coordination, and enrollment management.
Process new hire enrollments, qualifying life events, and terminations.
Assist employees with benefit issues.
Complete short term disability forms and track FMLA documentation with vendors.
Process COBRA notifications through third party vendor.
Support HR Director with annual 401(k) audits and compliance reporting.
HR Operations & Reporting
Assist with HRIS accuracy and ensure proper documentation and recordkeeping.
Generate HR reports for HR Director such as turnover, headcount, recruiting metrics, and compliance data.
Create new hire and termination tickets in the IT system and ensure system access is properly activated or removed.
Track and monitor employee HR-related training in the LMS system.
Assist HR Director with Workers’ Compensation claims, coordinate with carriers, and support annual audits.
Compensation & HR Projects
Assist with compensation analysis, and market research.
Assist with tracking annual review completions in the Paycor HRIS system.
Assist the HR Director with the creation and maintenance of job descriptions.
Support HR Director in various HR initiatives, reporting, audits, and compliance projects.
Assist with creating promotional and or increase letters.
Assist with audits and updates as needed in the HRIS system.
Provide backup coverage for payroll administration as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
3–4 years of progressive HR experience.
2-3 years demonstrated (hourly) recruiting experience as a proactive, hunter-style recruiter, including sourcing and attracting passive candidates beyond applicant tracking.
Experience in oil and gas or industrial environments is helpful.
Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
Experience with full-cycle recruiting and benefits administration preferred.
Experience with HRIS/Payroll systems (Paycor is a plus): such as applicant tracking, payroll, reporting, and benefits.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle a wide variety of tasks in a growing and fast-paced environment.
Detail oriented with strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
Computer proficiency in Microsoft office products.
