Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end launch of a 200,000+ sq. ft. manufacturing facility from site selection through operational ramp‑up
Oversee plant design, equipment selection, installation, and commissioning
Build and lead a leadership team (7‑8 direct leaders initially) and scale the organization to 100‑200+ employees
Direct operations across manufacturing, engineering, quality, materials, warehouse, and maintenance functions
Establish operational processes, KPIs, and systems for scalable production and operational excellence
Manage large capital budgets and operational financial performance
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across production, safety, quality, and cost efficiency
Ensure regulatory, environmental, and zoning compliance for facility operations
Partner with HR to build workforce strategy, hiring plans, training programs, and employee engagement initiatives
Provide executive‑level updates on operational progress, milestones, and strategic planning
Must‑Haves
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Management, or a related field
10‑15+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience
Proven experience launching and commissioning large‑scale manufacturing facilities (200,000+ sq. ft.)
Demonstrated success in greenfield site development and factory startup initiatives
Experience leading large manufacturing teams (200+ employees) and multiple direct leaders
Strong operational expertise across production operations, manufacturing engineering, quality systems, materials management, and warehouse operations
Experience managing multimillion‑dollar budgets and large capital projects
Strong leadership skills with experience building high‑performing teams and leadership pipelines
Excellent communication skills with the ability to align executives and cross‑functional stakeholders
Nice‑to‑Haves
Master's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Management, or a related field
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Experience scaling operations during rapid manufacturing growth phases
