Ticket Clerk Responsibilities
Responsible for processing finished boxes/pallets of tile from Tile Press.
Pull orders to be filled.
Check yardage on acknowledgments for completion.
Must be able to distinguish colors and shade differences.
Distinguish pattern defects and off-register cuts.
Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Performance Expectations (if applicable)
Lifting is required, a weight of 15 pounds (carpet samples) approximately 6 times per shift.
Standing and walking approximately 1 hour per shift.
Reaching is required approximately 50 times per shift.
Stooping is required approximately 10 times per shift for approximately 3-minute intervals.
Bending is required approximately 20 times per shift.
Experience / Education Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Must be able to read and write and do basic addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.
Must be able to type.
Computer knowledge or data entry skills are a necessary part of the job.
Ability to work well with others.
Excellent disciplinary record, attendance record, and safety record required.
Other Requirements
Overtime is required on occasion.
All accidents must be reported immediately.
Perform any other duties as assigned.
Safety equipment must be worn as required, and requirements must be followed for all areas.
Report to management any quality, safety, or potential problems encountered while performing the job.
Responsible for quality and safety of his/her own output.
