Contract French (Canadian) Translator & Customer Messaging Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Contract French (Canadian) Translator & Customer Messaging Specialist to support an upcoming Canadian tour. This role will focus on translating English signage, materials, and customer‑facing communications into culturally accurate French (Canadian), while also helping shape messaging that resonates with French‑speaking audiences in Canada. Responsibilities

Translate tour signage, merchandise signage, safety materials, and customer‑facing documents from English to French (Canadian). Ensure all translations are culturally appropriate, regionally accurate, and aligned with Québec language standards. Adapt messaging—not just translate—to ensure clarity, tone, and audience relevance. Proofread and review translated materials for accuracy, grammar, and consistency. Partner with internal teams to create customer‑facing messaging tailored to French‑speaking Canadian audiences. Provide guidance on tone, phrasing, and terminology to ensure an authentic and localized experience. Review marketing, signage, and announcements to ensure alignment with French‑Canadian expectations. Assist in preparing materials ahead of tour stops in French‑speaking regions. Be available for quick‑turn translations and updates during active tour periods. Qualifications

1‑2 years of experience in Quebec French translation, localization, or customer‑facing communication. Strong understanding of Québec French language nuances, tone, and regional preferences. Proficiency with FreshDesk and familiarity with customer‑support platforms. Reliable computer (i5 processor or better) and stable high‑speed internet connection. Quiet, dedicated workspace to handle calls and chats. Flexible with work schedule.
