Job Description Microchip’s Data Center Solutions Group is seeking an intern to help create AI-enabled workflows and tools that improve how strategic marketing work gets done.
In this role, you will evaluate the latest AI technologies and apply off-the-shelf AI tools, agents, and platforms to important marketing activities such as competitive intelligence, market research, pricing support, industry and ecosystem tracking, trend analysis, messaging support, and internal knowledge discovery. You will work hands‑on with these technologies to explore what works, test real use cases, and help implement practical solutions that make marketing faster, smarter, and more scalable.
This role is ideal for someone who is excited by both business and technology and wants to apply AI to real‑world marketing challenges with meaningful impact.
Requirements/Qualifications
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (junior/senior preferred) or Master’s degree / MBA in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Marketing, Business, Economics, or a related field
Technical background with some business/marketing experience, or business/marketing background with hands‑on technical and AI tool experience
Experience using AI tools for research, analysis, automation, or content development
Strong interest in applying AI to business and marketing problems
Self‑motivated, analytical, and able to work independently
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in marketing, market research, strategy, analytics, or product marketing through coursework, projects, or internships
Experience with AI agents, prompt engineering, automation tools, or no‑code workflow platforms
Interest in semiconductor, data center, or enterprise technology markets
Travel Time No Travel
