We are an integral part of the community, providing much needed support for families, schools, and children. The Learning Lamp is hiring an Art & Graphic Design Intern for Summer 2026. The Art & Graphic Design Intern will work primarily on Best Day Ever! - our catalog of out of school time lesson plans - to create illustrations and layouts critical to publication of new content. This is an internship for summer 2026 only. What are the hours like?

Hours are generally Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday beginning in May and ending in August 2026, as the intern's school schedule allows. What do we offer?

Pay Range: $10 per hour Holidays we are closed/you are off include: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day After Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day. What are the duties and responsibilities?

Create layouts and illustrations for summer camp and after school lesson plan activity pages. Design cover pages for Best Day Ever's lesson plans. Assist in creating social media content for Best Day Ever (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Pinterest). Build and maintain a library of graphics and illustrations for future Best Day Ever publications. Update existing activity pages, cover pages, and lesson plan layouts to current brand standards. What are the required qualifications?

Enrolled in Graphic Design, Art, or similar concentration. Computer skills, including Photoshop, Microsoft Word and Excel.
