Tax Manager – Fast Track to Partner | Collaborative, Fun, and High‑Growth CPA Firm (Hybrid in Phoenix, AZ)
Salary: $120,000 - $170,000 per year

Key Responsibilities and Duties
Prepare, review, and analyze individual and business tax returns (1040, 1120, 1120S, 1065)
Compute taxes owed and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
Lead and mentor staff accountants and manage engagement workflows
Oversee client relationships and provide strategic advice and tax planning
Conduct tax research on complex issues and communicate findings to clients
Identify value‑add opportunities and cross‑selling potential across firm services
Participate in networking and business development efforts
Stay current on changes in tax law and regulatory updates
Foster a culture of teamwork, professional development, and continuous learning
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field (required)
Master’s in Taxation (preferred)
CPA or EA License
7–15 years of public accounting experience with a focus on tax preparation, review, and planning
Demonstrated ability to manage complex engagements and mentor staff
Proficiency with tax software (UltraTax, GoFileRoom, BNA, RIA) and MS Office
Proven leadership skills and interest in fast‑tracking to partner
Strong client service, analytical, and communication skills
