Engine Builder

to join their team. As an

Engine Builder , you will be part of the

Powertrain / Engine Build Department

supporting

Honda’s Racing Programs

across combustion and hybrid power units. The ideal candidate will have

exceptional attention to detail ,

strong mechanical precision , and

excellent documentation/communication skills , which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Details Job Title: Engine Builder Location: 25145 Anza Dr, Santa Clarita, CA 91355 (On‑site) Pay Range: $30/hr – $38/hr

What’s the Job? Perform full engine rebuilds including teardown, cleaning, inspection, precise measurement, sub‑assembly, final fitting, and quality checks. Track engine and parts mileage, record detailed engine history, and assess component condition. Analyze and troubleshoot engine and performance issues, documenting findings and recommended corrective actions. Generate technical and summary reports; help maintain engine build procedures to ensure consistency and quality control. Support shop duties including maintaining engine carts/dollies, inventorying tools/consumables, and keeping washroom/grinding room clean.

What’s Needed? Minimum

5 years

of professional high‑performance engine building OR certified dealership technician experience (automotive or motorcycle). Strong understanding of

fuel injection systems ;

hybrid/electric

engine experience highly preferred. Ability to perform precise measurements using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other engine‑building tools. Experience with

data entry , tracking logs, and maintaining build documentation using PC and MS Office. Ability to perform repetitive precision tasks (e.g., honing valve guides, grinding/polishing valve faces) with consistency and quality.
