Role Overview
Oncology Sales Specialist – A field‑based sales position covering the Boise, Idaho to Spokane, Washington territory. The role supports healthcare providers and systems in delivering cutting‑edge immunotherapy products and educational resources.
Key Responsibilities
Demonstrate in‑depth knowledge of product value and position the company’s immunotherapy compound against competitors.
Act as the primary point of contact with key customers, meeting to understand practice structure, business model, and decision‑makers.
Apply knowledge of cancer staging, treatment options, dosing schedules and clinical trials to advise patients and clinicians.
Analyze market trends across drug distribution channels, oncology GPOs, wholesalers and specialty pharmacies.
Develop short‑ and long‑term account plans with the Customer Team Leader and other stakeholders.
Influence strategic customer discussions beyond the own geography to position company oncology brands.
Collaborate with the in‑scope customer team (Key Account Manager, Nurse Educator, Field Reimbursement Associate, Medicare Account Executive, etc.) for a consistent customer experience.
Travel & Territory Field‑based position requiring approximately 25% overnight travel within the assigned Boise–Spokane territory. Must reside within the territory.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of sales experience, OR high school diploma with 10 years of equivalent experience.
Equivalent healthcare or marketing experience qualifies.
Minimum 2 years of oncology field‑sales experience.
Valid driver’s license and vehicle.
Willingness to travel as required.
Preferred Experience and Skills
Strong performance track record in sales, marketing or oncology clinical roles.
Excellent account management, adaptability and interpersonal skills.
Ability to engage customers with in‑depth product and market knowledge.
Compensation Salary Range: $156,900.00 – $247,000.00. Eligible for annual bonus and long‑term incentive plans.
