
BRANDED MERCHANDISE ACCOUNT MANAGER

This position is on a base annual salary + commission plan. Base Salary is dependent on experience. DCG ONE is one of the largest privately held marketing service providers in the country. About the Role The Branded Merchandise Account Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, acting as the face and subject‑matter expert of our branded merchandise practice. In this role, you will partner strategically with Account Executives to identify and support client growth opportunities. You’ll lead large, complex client programs—from creative product ideation and solution development to logistics, operations, and ordering best practices—while also supporting production and billing processes with the help of internal teams.

Responsibilities
Serve as subject matter expert and client go‑to for all branded merchandise needs.
Develop a deep understanding of client objectives, pain points, and business opportunities through the lens of branded merchandise and related solutions.
Work directly with the Sales Director and stakeholders on strategic account growth initiatives.
Oversee project execution (ideation, pricing, production, fulfillment) for client book.
Own project margins and direct client billing and project reconciliation.
Represent DCG ONE as branded merchandise subject matter expert in client meetings (virtual and in‑person).
Keep CRM and project management software updated with project and production details as updates are received.
Qualifications
5+ years of account management experience in a branded merchandise distributorship.
In-depth understanding of branded merchandise product environment, sourcing channels, product development, and inventory management solutions.
Exceptional communication (written and oral) and organizational skills.
Familiarity with CommonSKU and Hubspot strongly preferred.
Self‑motivation, independence, and critical thinking.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
Flexibility to travel locally/regionally for client meetings and event support.
May be required to complete and pass a Public Trust Security Clearance.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Digital Media, Technology, or a related field preferred.

Work Environment This position is predominantly held in a clerical environment and may also work or access the production floor in an industrial warehouse setting.
This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
