Associate Media Director (hybrid)

We are seeking an Associate Media Director to join a growing team within a progressive agency in NYC (hybrid‑flexible days of your choice in office). The Associate Media Director will be responsible for developing and executing media plans across various channels with a focus in digital and emerging media, managing media budgets, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to achieve campaign goals. This role will play a key part in driving business growth and success for clients while managing a team, guiding these individuals through the fundamentals of the planning process (inclusive of developing high‑level strategies, partner RFP/evaluation, negotiation, tactical plan development & execution, reporting & insights, optimization, billing, etc.).

Requirements

6+ years of experience in media planning and buying

Proven track record of success in media planning and buying, with a focus on digital media

Ability to develop high level strategies that include implementation of new, innovative ideas that deliver results according to objectives from awareness to lead generation

Excellent communication and project management skills

Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills

Strong knowledge of industry trends and developments

Experience working with cross‑functional teams, including creative and account management

Adept with digital tools including Google Analytics, DoubleClick/DFA, MOAT/IAS, Google Data Studio, Prisma, Spectra

Proficiency in media planning tools and software (e.g. Comscore, Nielsen, IAS)

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related field

Salary : $110,000 – $140,000
