
Fleet Lifecycle Management

WHC Worldwide is seeking a highly accountable and detail-oriented leader to manage the full lifecycle of fleet assets across a national footprint. This role oversees vehicle acquisition support, repair versus replace decisions, disposition strategy, and all titling and tax-related processes to ensure compliance, accuracy, and financial optimization.
This position serves as the single point of ownership for fleet lifecycle decisions and is responsible for improving asset performance, reducing cost, and ensuring disciplined processes across buying, operating, and selling vehicles.

What You’ll Do As a Fleet Lifecyle Management
Own the full lifecycle of fleet vehicles including purchase support, repair vs. replace decisions, and final disposition
Establish and manage decision frameworks for buy, repair, or sell based on cost, condition, mileage, and market value
Partner with leadership on vehicle purchasing strategy, including timing, pricing, and vehicle selection
Oversee all vehicle titling, registration, and lien processes across multiple states
Ensure proper handling of sales tax, title transfers, and registration compliance, including identifying the most efficient and compliant tax treatment by state
Manage relationships with auctions, wholesalers, salvage partners, and transport vendors
Negotiate pricing and optimize resale channels to maximize recovery
Ensure all vehicles are properly de-logoed and documented prior to sale
Implement standardized vehicle condition reporting (photos, damage documentation, mechanical notes)
Maintain audit-ready documentation and ensure compliance with all state and local requirements
Lead and develop titling and administrative staff, building scalable processes as the fleet grows
Partner with operations, finance, and executive leadership to provide clear reporting and decision support
What You Bring As a Fleet Lifecycle Management
5+ years of experience in fleet management, automotive operations, asset management, or vehicle remarketing
Strong understanding of vehicle titling, registration, and multi-state compliance
Experience or exposure to sales tax handling related to vehicle purchases, transfers, or dispositions
Strong financial and operational decision-making skills
Experience managing vendors and negotiating pricing
High attention to detail and process discipline
Proven ownership mindset with ability to scale processes
Experience with large fleets (1,000+ vehicles) preferred
Auction, wholesale, or dealership experience is a plus
