Job Overview The primary purpose of the
Sales Administration Coordinator
role is to assist with projects and activities for marketing products or services by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Performs customs clearance for all Wirtgen units.
Performs customs clearance and tracks shipment from factory for all Wirtgen units.
Works with trucking company to deliver demo/sold units.
Prepares quotes, sales orders, machine sales invoicing, correspondence, and mail outs for retail sales.
Quotes pricing availability of machines to District Sales Managers and Dealership network as needed.
Assists with bid preparation for buy boards and municipalities.
Assists with providing pricing updates to District Sales Managers and Dealership network.
Assists in implementing public relations programs, online events, and trade shows.
Conducts customer surveys to obtain marketing information about the organization products and services.
Enters new customer and product information into customer database, while ensuring that data is current and accurate.
Communicates in a timely manner to internal and external customers via e-mail or phone call.
Files work orders, correspondence, truck bills, etc., as necessary.
Education and Experience
One-year certificate from college or technical school; or one to two years related experience.
Three years’ experience as a sales coordinator.
Required Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
Strong multi-channel communication skills.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit and talk or hear.
The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands and finger dexterity to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
