Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented
Overnight Data Entry Clerk
to support production, inventory, and shop‑floor operations within a manufacturing environment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring real‑time data accuracy across ERP systems, inventory tracking, and production reporting. The ideal candidate is comfortable working overnight hours and has hands‑on experience using ERP systems in an operational setting.
Key Responsibilities
Execute ERP system transactions accurately and in real time.
Open and close process orders daily.
Perform order, inventory, and shift‑to‑shift reconciliations.
Manage shop‑floor data entry and production activity tracking.
Conduct bin counts and support inventory management efforts.
Utilize scanners for inventory and production monitoring.
Analyze production data for accuracy and traceability.
Maintain work‑in‑process (WIP), raw material, and rework flow.
Partner with Production, Finance, and Warehouse teams to resolve discrepancies.
Develop and maintain job aids to support process improvements.
Complete additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
6 months–1+ year of experience using ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics 365; Aptean experience is a plus).
Experience with inventory reconciliation and order processing.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel (formulas and standard functions).
Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and problem‑solving skills.
English proficiency required.
Preferred Qualifications
Spanish bilingual.
Experience working in manufacturing or production environments.
Familiarity with shop‑floor operations, bin management, or cycle counts.
Additional Information
Flexibility to train on first shift for the initial 4–6 weeks is required.
This role is highly detail‑focused and works closely with multiple departments.
