Digital Experience Leader / IT Consultant

Accomplices is a lean, fast-moving creative agency doing marketing and digital work for private sector and government clients. We’re staffing up for a significant federal government website expansion project running through August and need a sharp digital experience leader who can think and communicate at the executive level.
We need someone who understands both the front-end and back-end landscape, can hold their own in a client‑facing conversation, and brings the kind of presence that makes stakeholders actually listen.
What you’ll be doing:
Serving as the digital experience authority on a large‑scale government web project (20+ pages)
Advising on front‑end design decisions and technical approach
Interfacing directly with the client and internal creative team
Translating technical concepts into clear, confident recommendations for non‑technical decision makers
What we’re looking for:
Front‑end and back‑end fluency – you don’t have to build it all, but you have to understand it all
Experience working in or adjacent to government/public sector digital projects
Strong presence and communication skills – you’re comfortable in the room with executives
1099 contractor experience – you know how this works
Hard requirements:
Clear background check, no pending criminal charges
Available to start immediately
Contract: 1099, through August 2026 (potential extension).
