Role Description This is an on-site, paid internship in Minneapolis, MN for a Marketing & Social Media Strategy Intern to help build and grow our organic social presence. This is an exciting opportunity for a student interested in healthcare marketing, startups, digital storytelling, and social media strategy to help shape how a mission-driven company communicates with patients, providers, and the public. The intern will help develop a foundational organic social media strategy, create engaging content, and support thought leadership across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and other channels.
Preferred Qualifications
Current undergraduate or graduate student in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Health, Business, or related field
Strong writing, storytelling and design skills (Canva, CapCut or Premiere or similar tools)
Strong familiarity with Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, or other social platforms
Interest in healthcare, biotech, or women’s health
Organized and able to work independently in a startup environment
Bonus if you have:
Experience managing a social account for a brand, club, or publication
Experience in science communication or health education
What You’ll Work On
Analyze how leading health and biotech brands approach organic social
Develop Certitude’s organic social media strategy
Identify key platforms, content pillars, and consistent posting cadence
Work closely with Astrin’s agency partners to ensure consistency and amplification across the entire funnel
Content Creation
Develop creative content ideas and weekly content calendars
Draft posts for Facebook, Instagram, and other channels
Help translate scientific and medical concepts into engaging, accessible content
Design simple graphics and videos using tools like Canva
Thought Leadership
Help amplify company leadership and expert voices on social media
Draft social posts based on articles, research, and company news
Identify relevant timely conversations and trends in women’s health to leverage on social
Audience Growth & Engagement
Identify strategies to grow organic followers
Support comment monitoring and engagement
Track performance and recommend improvements
