User Experience Lead

Job Title: Lead UX/UI Designer 4 (Senior, Leve 4)
Location: Broomfield, CO, Peoria/Chicago, IL, Hybrid 3days onsite
Contract: 12 Months
What you’ll be doing:
Design (50%) — Lead end-to-end UX across wireframes, prototypes, journey maps, personas, and high-fidelity visuals. Take solutions from concept to market in close collaboration with product and engineering.
User Advocacy (15%) — Champion the voice of the customer. Balance user needs with business goals and technical constraints.
Design Operations (35%) — Act as the team's design authority. Maintain and govern design systems (components, templates, Source of Truth). Partner with Program Management to uphold quality and upskill teammates.
Qualifications:
8+ years of UX experience (degree/certification) OR 12+ years equivalent experience
Expert Figma skills — components, design systems, recipes, and Make
Strong command of IA flows, prototyping, and lo/hi-fi deliverables
Excellent communicator and self-starter
Background in adjacent industries (fleet/equipment mgmt, airlines, Oil & Gas, Fintech, mapping apps, etc.)
Nice to Have:
Knowledge of on-highway or fleet logistics
