Leadership / CxO position in unique biotech
Tomorrow Biostasis GmbH, Florida, NY, United States
THIS IS NOT A POSITION AT TOMORROW BIO, but at one of our partners –
We’re dedicated to translational and applied research in Biostasis (also known as Cryonics) and delivering human cryopreservation of the utmost quality. Human Cryopreservation is a field that recently has seen a renaissance, with millions and millions being invested and the leaders of longevity moving into the space. We are building the first professional and scalable organization in this space in the US. With a strong focus on science and medical quality. This position is quite unique. We are looking for people who are intrinsically motivated and want to work on leading‑edge topics that fundamentally challenge the status quo (and by an order of magnitude more than other companies, that say the same).
Our offer is for you to be a part of that. Please read the article below. It will help you understand if you have the motivation to be a member of our forward‑thinking, intrinsically motivated team. Learn more at waitbutwhy.com/2016/03/cryonics.html
Tasks
Join the leadership team
Build the medical and logistical capabilities for whole‑body field cryoprotection and lead the medical and SST teams
Deep dive and take responsibility for a wide range of topics
Build partnerships with other R&D and cryopreservation organizations and set the strategic direction of the overall organization
Co‑responsible for all topics that help us grow, advance the sector and build a scalable and professional organization
Requirements
Prior experience in leadership roles with personnel responsibility, ideally in Operations or CxO positions
Extraordinary grit and dedication
Experience in early‑stage, high‑innovation organizations
Unparalleled intrinsic motivation for longevity and human cryopreservation
Analytical mindset with a scientific, evidence‑based approach
Extroverted personality
Hands‑on mentality; daily work will include a wide range of projects
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Excellent English language skills
Excellent computer/tech skills
Willingness to relocate to Southern Florida (we will help with all the details)
Optional: Scientific and/or medical background/experience
Benefits This position is not a simple, ordinary job. We’re looking for someone who wants to make their passion their career, someone who wants to dedicate the next 10 years to this topic and practically build a sector from scratch. It will require more work and gratification will be quite a bit down the line. On the other hand, you will work on a bleeding‑edge topic that fundamentally challenges the status quo.
Professional growth: You will have the mandate to improve the organization in collaboration with the very best people in the space
Innovative and groundbreaking field: Be at the forefront of a pioneering field with the potential to revolutionize biotech and longevity fields
Mentorship: Our partners are the very best in the field, from R&D to medical procedures. They will be your advisors and mentors
Competitive compensation package, including salary and bonuses
Flexible time off and paid holidays
Great benefits
