Position Overview
The Director, Client Reporting Center of Excellence will build and lead a global capability responsible for delivering consistent, insight-rich, executive-ready Business Reviews for Zelis’ most strategic clients. This role establishes how we translate data, market dynamics, and performance trends into compelling enterprise value stories.
Build & Lead the Center of Excellence
Stand up and scale the Client Reporting COE from the ground up, including team structure, workflows, governance, and quality standards.
Lead a global team (Director + Managers / ICs) aligned by vertical, ensuring consistently high-quality outputs.
Establish success metrics for Business Reviews including insight depth, consistency, and executive impact.
Executive-Level Insight & Storytelling
Translate complex data, KPIs, and market signals into clear, compelling executive narratives.
Develop points of view on market dynamics, client performance, and emerging trends.
Present insights with executive presence, shaping strategic conversations with senior client stakeholders.
Elevate Business Reviews from reporting to decision-oriented, insight-first engagements.
Market & Trend Leadership
Identify and codify product, client, and market-level trends across verticals.
Own enterprise benchmarks, trend libraries, and quarterly market refreshes.
Lead win/loss analysis and communicate implications to senior leadership.
Cross-Functional Partnership
Partner closely with Sales, Client Success, RevOps, Analytics, Product, and Business Units.
Act as a trusted advisor to client-facing teams on Business Review strategy and messaging.
Support top client Business Reviews directly; coach broader teams via office hours and structured enablement.
AI & Automation Strategy
Own the vision for AI-enabled and automated Business Reviews.
Serve as business product owner for reporting automation, insight generation, and next-best-action capabilities.
Partner with data, engineering, and external vendors to drive scalable solutions.
Required
10-15 years of experience in executive-level reporting, insight generation and strategic storytelling, 3-5 years’ experience in a top-tier consulting firm, and a degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related analytical discipline.
Proven experience building or scaling new capabilities, practices, or operating models.
Deep expertise in executive-level reporting, insight generation, and strategic storytelling.
Exceptional analytical skills with strong data fluency and trend interpretation.
Demonstrated executive presence and ability to lead C‑suite-level discussions.
Preferred experience in healthcare, payments, or complex B2B environments.
Experience leading global or offshore teams.
Exposure to AI-enabled analytics, automation, or advanced reporting platforms.
Demonstrated academic rigor with strong quantitative and analytical foundations.

Strongly Preferred
MBA or Master’s degree – A Masters in Data Analytics is strongly preferred.

Graduate education with emphasis on structured problem solving, data-driven decision making, executive communication and storytelling, consulting & professional training, executive-level presentation standards, hypothesis-driven analysis, structured problem-solving methodologies, and advanced training in analytics, strategy, or transformation programs.

Location and Workplace Flexibility We have offices in Atlanta GA, Boston MA, Morristown NJ, Plano TX, St. Louis MO, St. Petersburg FL, and Hyderabad, India. The role is hybrid and remote friendly; work location may vary based on the position’s needs and leadership team decisions.
Base Salary Range $153,000.00 - $193,800.00
