We are looking for a strategic, ambitious Social Media & Content Manager to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who can translate complex technical jargon into compelling narratives that drive engagement and authority. They’ll be the bridge between technical innovation and human connection. One day they’ll distill a 20-page whitepaper into a LinkedIn carousel; the next, they’ll interview a Product Engineer to write a deep-dive blog post on the future of SaaS architecture. As a key member of Alloy’s PR team, this individual will support clients’ overarching brand awareness and market validation programs by developing social media & long-form content that resonates with key stakeholders. They’ll learn to deeply understand their client’s businesses, key messages, and solutions, and transform them into stories that connect with, educate, and excite target audiences. They’re curious and passionate about social media trends, and they know when to recommend executive social strategy over brand social strategy. The Social Media & Content Manager will work closely with fellow team members on account-specific strategy, tasks and deliverables by providing strategic guidance, critical thinking and thoughtful review, ensuring materials are strategic and representative of Alloy’s high-caliber work. Responsibilities
Gains a deep understanding of a client’s brand, business, and industry, and can act as a client and/or industry subject matter expert Develops and manages client social media & content plans and ensures they are aligned to client’s overall objectives regularly Writes short-form (e.g., social media captions, community responses) and long-form (e.g., blogs, Q&A articles, bylines, internal comms materials) that are tied to the client’s social media & content strategy/plan and supports the client’s PR strategy Designs engaging, captivating social media assets (e.g., graphics, carousels, short-form video) Weaves keywords, client key messaging, and modern structure into short-form and long-form content to help with SEO and AI rankings Manages internal and external review processes of content Serves as a trusted social media & content advisor to the client contact and can speak to best practices, including employee engagement, influencer marketing, amplification strategies, how social media & content impact AI visibility and SEO, etc. Reports on social media & content performance and adjusts content strategy based on insights Researches marketing, social media & content trends to understand what resonates with target audiences and fits within client goals, objectives, and personas Reports to the Organic Social Associate Director and works closely with the PR team to develop strategic, engaging content that produces results for clients. Qualifications
You possess a minimum of 3-5 years of post-graduate experience in a social media or content creation role, preferably with technology, SaaS, or B2B brands Experience working with PR, social, and content teams to build, execute and report on results of a PR or content strategy with minimal oversight Excellent research, comprehension, and writing skills for short-form and long-form content; ability to adapt writing style to the subject Ability to participate in client calls, present strategy, and report on performance Familiarity with social media management software (e.g., Sprout Social, Meltwater, Hootsuite) Familiarity with design software (Canva, Figma, Adobe suite) Familiarity with analytics platforms (Google Analytics and platform analytics) Understanding of how market and digital trends influence social media and content calendars Strong self-management with ability to meet deadlines while collaborating with the team Authentic, bold, curious, accountable, candid and agile mindset Benefits
