
Director, US Biosimilars Launch

Teva is a leading innovative biopharmaceutical company. The Director, Biosimilars Launch US plays a critical role in building Teva’s biosimilar franchise and preparing the market for one of the largest biosimilar pipelines in the industry. This position supports successful near‑term biosimilar launches in collaboration with the biosimilars team and cross‑functional partners.
Location
Hybrid (3 days per week onsite) in Parsippany, NJ. Responsibilities
Partner with the Senior Director to lead the development of integrated US launch strategies across multiple biosimilar pipeline assets, setting the strategic direction and ensuring alignment with Teva’s long‑range plan. Serve as the commercialization lead driving cross‑functional governance, decision‑making, and alignment with cross‑functional partners. Shape and enhance the U.S. biosimilar launch operating model to ensure repeatability, process optimization, and best practice sharing across assets. Lead development and execution of US biosimilar launch readiness frameworks, KPIs, and operating mechanisms. Co‑lead launch meeting planning with other internal partners. Collaborate with market access teams on payer strategy and pull‑through. Collaborate with trade teams on distribution and specialty pharmacy strategy. Work with internal and external partners to create, develop and drive strategy for future biosimilar launch assets. Assist in go‑to‑market strategy development, long‑range planning and annual operating processes (budget setting). Support market research to enable future launches in collaboration with the insights team, analyze market data and information, and make informed decisions. Align organizationally and individually with internal and external codes of conduct. Required Education, Certifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred. Minimum 10 years of pharmaceutical experience. Minimum 7 years of pharmaceutical marketing experience or equivalent. Preferred Experience
Launch experience in multiple therapeutic spaces (e.g., oncology, autoimmune). Strong understanding of market access with proficiency in both pharmacy and medical benefit. Biosimilars background is a plus. Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
Strong pharmaceutical industry and therapeutic area business acumen. Ability to cope with uncertainty and deliver innovative solutions to new problems. Ability to build solid cross‑functional relationships and work with all levels within an organization. Self‑starter with a “take charge” attitude and the ability to work with minimal direction. Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, changing environment with a level of ambiguity. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Innovative thinker with a desire for continuous learning. Able to draw insights from various sources, understand market and competition, and synthesize complex information. Ability to meet objectives and deadlines, promote efficiency and effectiveness, and incorporate improvements. Project management experience with coordination of projects with multiple stakeholders and vendors. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. Versed in MS Office tools including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook. Travel Requirements
Approximately 30% domestic travel throughout the US. Salary Range
The annual starting salary ranges from $173,920 to $217,400, depending on geography, skills, education, experience, and other factors. Benefits
