What You’ll Do We are seeking an outgoing, reliable

1099 Brand Ambassador

to support a series of

in-store sampling activations

for a

21+ consumer product

in the San Antonio area. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys engaging with customers, representing premium brands, and delivering high-quality in-person experiences

Execute in-store sampling events at assigned retail locations

Educate consumers on product features, benefits, and brand story

Drive product trial and purchase intent through engaging interactions

Maintain a professional, compliant presence aligned with brand and retailer guidelines

Set up, manage, and break down sampling stations

Submit timely post-event reports with feedback and insights

Must attend a mandatory one-hour virtual training, you must be in front of a laptop or computer. No phones.

Qualifications

Experience in experiential marketing, brand ambassadorship, field promotions, or customer-facing CPG roles in a retail environment.

High-energy communication skills and comfort initiating conversations with strangers.

Strong professionalism, punctuality, and follow-through in fast-paced activation environments

Comfort working around regulated categories (energy drinks, supplements, alcohol, nicotine).

Must be 21 years of age or older

Previous experience in CPG, retail sampling, or regulated brands strongly preferred

Comfortable engaging with customers in a retail environment

Reliable, punctual, and professional

Able to follow compliance guidelines for 21+ products

Preferred Skills

Experience with Kava, Kratom, or energy drink sampling programs.

Background in high-volume street teams or commuter-focused sampling initiatives.

Demonstrated success driving trial in CPG or beverage activations.

Work & Style This is an on-site or hybrid role depending on location, with occasional travel for events, trainings, or key program needs. You manage your time to maximize efficiency and field readiness.
